Super Bowl LVII – the most watched television event of the year – is just around the corner, with two teams set to battle for the NFL title on Sunday, February 12.

The game is broadcast at 6:30 p.m. on FOX, which is available on cable and most TV streaming services.

If you want to get out of the house to watch the game and take advantage of some great deals on food and drinks, we have plenty of options.

Here are some places to watch the Super Bowl in the Charlotte area:

12th Man Sports Pub

What to try: One of the six artisan pizzas on the menu, or build your own 10- or 16-inch pie.

What to know: The menu also includes draft beer, wine, cocktails, mules and martinis from $4 to $13.

All American Pub

What to try: Fried pickles, Philly cheesesteak or chicken caesar wrap.

What to know: Sunday specials include $3 mimosas, $3 Bud Lights and $5 Panther shots.

Brazwell’s

What to try: The smokehouse burger, or if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, the Oreo cheesecake.

What to know: Sunday specials include $5 24-ounce Bud Lights, $2 mimosas and $4 Bloody Marys.

Dilworth Grille

What to try: Shareables like the Dilworth crab cakes and steak nachos are solid choices.

What to know: The covered patio has plenty of seating and 16 flat screen LED TVs, perfect for watching the big game.

What to know: Duckworth’s is offering $3.95 draft beers at all locations on Super Bowl Sunday. You can also pre-order wings from now until February 11th by calling the restaurant to set up a Sunday pickup time.

Fox & Dog

Location: 8711 Lindholm Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078

What to try: Recently added menu items such as the Nashville hot chicken pizza or the Jack Daniels Burger.

What to know: There is another Fox & Hound location in Northlake.

Grace O’Malley’s

Location: 157 N. Trade St., Matthews, NC 28105

What to try: Irish staples like corned beef poutine, chips and curry, lamb burger and Maureen’s Shepherd’s Pie.

What to know: Grace O’Malley’s is an Irish pub, but also offers American cuisine, vegetarian options and a children’s menu.

Jackalope Jacks

Location: 1801 Commonwealth Ave., Charlotte, NC 28205

What to try: Fish and chips, grilled cheese with short ribs or buffalo chicken sandwich.

What to know: If you’re in the mood for a hearty meal when you wake up on Super Bowl Sunday, check out the restaurant’s brunch options on its website.

Jack’s corner cock

What to try: “Corner Tap Burger”, topped with caramelized onions, crispy bacon and gorgonzola cheese.

What to know: Sunday specials include $5 Ketel Ones, $2.50 Miller Lite drafts and $2 mimosas.

Backlash Jack’s

Location: 123 Ervin Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117

What to try: Appetizers like Tavern Nachos, bacon cheese fries, fried pickles or Philly cheesesteak egg rolls.

What to know: There are more than 50 high definition, large screen TVs at Kickback Jack’s, so there’s no bad spot in the house to watch the game.

Selwyn Pub

What to try: The wings or the Selwyn slider, which has a juicy angus cube with bacon, pepperoni, onion and chipotle aioli.

What to know: The heated outdoor patio is an excellent place to watch the game as temperatures are expected to drop below freezing.

What to try: The “famous” baby back ribs, slowly smoked in a special spice sauce, grilled to order and served with fries and cole slaw.

What to know: The menu at Sports Page also includes beer on tap, a large selection of wines and plenty of mixed drink options.

What to try: The buffalo or lemon pepper wings, fried or grilled, or the “dirty fries” (seasoned fries filled with beef, chicken or Philly meat, cheese sauce, green onions and peppers).

What to know: The dress code is business casual, which means flip-flops, slippers, oversized clothing and revealing clothing are not allowed.

Sweetwater Sports Bar & Grill

What to try: The “over-the-top” nachos, Buffalo chicken wontons or shrimp po boy.

What to know: You can call the restaurant at 803-831-1788 to pre-order a plate of wings. With more than 20 sauce flavors, it can be difficult to choose just one.

VBGB

Location: 920 Hamilton St., Charlotte, NC 28206

What to try: The grilled jumbo pretzel with beer cheese or “totchos” (tater tots with cheese, black bean corn salsa, creamy sriracha honey, sour cream and jalapenos).

What to know: Patrons can park on the parking deck across the street. Simply tell the attendant you are visiting VBGB and staff will validate your ticket with any purchase.
