There are 3 new Singapore restaurants on the list
There is always something special when it comes to savoring foods that are works of art. That’s why lists like World’s Best Restaurants and World’s 50 Best Bars celebrate the beauty and culinary skills of the renowned chefs and bartenders who make it possible. This year is no different as we celebrate the deserving with the annual list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Ahead of the live awards ceremony in Singapore on March 28, where the list of the top 1-50 restaurants will be revealed, we have the full list of the top 51-100.
To recap, the list of winners was created based on votes by the Academy of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, an influential gender-balanced group of more than 300 food industry leaders made up of food writers and critics, chefs, restaurateurs and regional culinary experts.
Singapore’s debutants in the 51-100 rankings are Nae: um (No. 83), which serves modern Korean cuisine, and Julien Royer’s French neobrasserie claudine (No. 85) – both just over a year old – followed by the well-established Cantonese restaurant Summer pavilion at number 86.
As for the other three Singaporean restaurants on the list: Thevar rose to No. 56 from last year’s ranking of No. 92, while lola sits comfortably at number 66, up from last year’s number 75 ranking. Jaan by Kirk Westaway it fell to #84 this year compared to last year’s ranking of #55.
Kuala Lumpur deity it is currently at number 74, followed by Eating and cooking at number 79 i baby at No. 94. All three restaurants stumbled in last year’s ranking.
The 51-100 list: a snapshot
Regionally, the 51-100 list includes restaurants in 17 cities
Hong Kong leads the ranking with eight places, including three new entries as of now Yong Fu (No. 54), I go (No. 61) i none (No. 62)
Tokyo is represented by six restaurants, including new entries sketch (No. 67), The PizzaBar on 38 (No. 80) i Tribute (no. 91)
New entrant Vo (No. 60) is the first Toyama restaurant to appear on the list
August in Jakarta is the 2023 recipient American Express One To Watch Awardand enters the list at number 95
Singapore and Bangkok have six establishments each in this section
Shanghai occupies four places on the list, including a new entry Meet the Bund it is at number 89
Kuala Lumpur, Seoul and Mumbai are represented by three restaurants each

The 2023 list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants will be revealed at the awards ceremony held on March 28, 2023 in Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). The awards ceremony will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.
