The 8 most popular Trader Joe’s products for 2023
|For the 14th year in a row, the supermarket chain Trader Joe’s has released its Customer Choice Awards, highlighting products that loyal shoppers especially love.
The chain surveyed 18,000 customers on its website and Instagram account with the question “If you were to spend the rest of your life on a deserted island, what nine Trader Joe’s products would you take with you?”
The survey was open for the first few weeks of 2023, a spokesperson for CNBC Make It said, and then divided the results into categories such as snacks, appetizers, and household products.
The current hero at Trader Joe’s is the chili-lime-wrapped tortilla chips, which supermarket copywriters describe as “spicy, chewy little rolls made with ground corn masa.”
Many products were ineligible for the competition because they had won their categories multiple times in the past years. Inducted into the newly created Trader Joe’s Products Hall of Fame. They include mandarin orange chicken, dark chocolate peanut butter cups, pretzel bars filled with peanut butter, and unexpected cheddar and soy chorizo.
These are Trader Joe’s customers’ eight favorite products this year and how much they cost.
