Steps to make aloe vera juice at home

Aloe vera juice is a delicious and healthy supplement to any beverage or juice. Aloe vera gel has been shown to reduce inflammation, aid digestion, and control blood sugar levels when ingested. Making your own aloe vera juice can be challenging, but once you’ve mastered how to remove the gel, you’ll be able to make nutritious and delicious smoothies and juices fast!

Aloe vera should be washed well because it releases a poisonous yellow liquid soon after it is harvested. If the sheet has just been plucked on the outside, leave it inside for an hour to allow all of the liquid, known as “latex,” to dry before washing it off. When you are ready to cut it, dry it with a clean cloth. Deadly yellow latex is generally released into most store-bought papers, but you should still wash the paper first to get rid of any dirt and debris. If you are allergic to latex, taking yellow latex can cause fatal stomach cramps, vomiting, or diarrhea.

Remove the edges

It will be easier to open the shutter if you cut off the sides (almost the same as the stuffing). Using the tip of the knife, cut the side “seam” of the sheet, then move the blade along the sheet. You should end up with two parts after you separate the paper. Cut the rind, or “seams,” off the sides and discard it away. At this point, scissors can also be used; However, be sure to keep its blades sharp and wipe off any sticky buildup afterward.

Ignore the crust

The lethal chemical secreted by the leaf when harvested must be peeled off using the blade of a knife. Once this layer is completely removed, throw it away. On the top of the bottom sheet, you should leave only a clear, sticky residue. For the other sheet, repeat the same procedure. After removing the yellow paint, wash the knife with water and dish soap. Alternatively, the leaf can be gently rinsed in a solution of 1 tablespoon (3.0 teaspoons) of white vinegar and 8 fluid ounces (240 ml) of water to remove the yellow coating.

scrape off the gel

To remove the clear sticky substance from the sheet, pass the edge of the spoon along it. Put as much as you can — at least 2 tablespoons (6.0 teaspoons) — into a blender at once or into an airtight container for later use. Ensure that the extracted gel is free of any yellow or green spots. The gel can be kept in the refrigerator for up to a week, but it should be consumed right away to get the most health benefits. You can mix the gel with your favorite fruit juice or smoothie.
