Seafood, sausage, saffron | Food and drink

The smell of seafood, sausage and saffron filled the air in the varied mixture. A restaurant in El Prado on Sunday evening (September 18) for Taos’ 13th great chef Paella Kokov, which is back this year after a two-year hiatus.

The weather was almost perfect for the two-hour event, which brought together Taos area chefs and home cooks to help raise money for Taos Great Chefs—the event’s nonprofit sponsor—and the Taos High School Culinary Arts program.
