Starter options include baked pimento cheese, smothered southern fried sticky buns, crab cakes and bandera quail. Main options include fried chicken benedict, banana french toast, chilaquiles, black bay red snapper, southern fried chicken and New York steak and eggs. There are many desserts to choose from such as vanilla bean creme brulee and roasted apple tart.

A family-style Easter brunch at SweetFire Kitchen at La Cantera Resort & Spa from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. is $79 per adult and $35 for children ages 6-12. Choose to dine in the dining room or alfresco. . Reservations are required and can be made by calling 210-558-2579.

Central Market is offering take-home Easter meals from the supermarket’s catering department to feed the family, which can be booked online or over the phone from 20 March to 6 April. The meal reception will be held on April 7 and 8 before Easter Sunday. Dining options include: Easter Ham, which serves six to eight people for $169.99; a Mediterranean salmon dish that feeds four to six for $129.99; Braised Short Ribs that feed four to six for $159.99; a four- to six-course vegetarian meal for $59.99; and an Easter brunch version that serves six to eight for $99.99. All meal options include several sides, and the breakfast option comes with a half-gallon of fresh-squeezed orange juice.

The Menger Hotel’s Colonial Room restaurant will host Easter lunches, one at 11:30 a.m. and the other at 2:00 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 210-225-6196 or emailing [email protected] . Prices are $75.00 for ages 12 to 54, $65.00 for ages 55 and older, and $55.00 for children ages 6 to 11.

Hillside Texas Bistro at Hillside Boutique Hotel is hosting an EGGstravaganza Easter brunch complete with an egg hunt, live music, Easter Bunny photo opportunities and a mimosa bar. Lunch includes steak, omelets, salads and desserts. The brunch event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and reservations can be made now by calling 830-538-3200. Lorraine’s Bakery doesn’t offer breakfast, but the San Antonio bakery chain offers a special 7-inch double-layer Easter carrot cake that makes about 10-12. Cake topped with pineapple, coconut, walnuts, cream cheese frosting and topped with a pastel macaron crown. Cakes cost $80 a piece and will be available on Saturday, April 8. Orders can now be placed online.
