Oceania cruises, the world’s leading culinary and destination-focused cruise line, announced that the newly reinvigorated Riviera will be cruising in Asia for the first time due to unprecedented guest demand in the 2023-2024 season. The 1,238-guest ship will offer passengers the most elegant way to explore some of the world’s most exciting places across Asia, placing cultural immersion and culinary excellence at the heart of the travel experience.
Better than the new Riviera It will dazzle in Asia by charting its inaugural season in the region, sailing through Arabia, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines. Its new season brings 25 unique journeys ranging from 10 to 82 days. In addition, Regatta and Nautica will significantly expand the line’s offerings in the exotic South Pacific, with more opportunities to explore sought-after destinations such as New Zealand, Australia and French Polynesia than ever before.
New cruises have nearly doubled seasonal availability with 121 itineraries available for bookings across the Riviera, Regatta, Insignia and Nautica, cementing Oceania Cruises’ position as Asia’s leading culinary-focused cruise sailing destination.
The announcement of Riviera follows an unprecedented year for luxury cruises, with sales exceeding expectations and breaking several records.

Riviera cruises bring imaginative cultural encounters, ancient treasures, and more. From the Great Wall of China and the Grand Palace in Bangkok to the ethereal seascapes of Ha Long Bay and the temples and gardens of Kyoto, Asia’s landscapes are full of wonder. The futuristic neon-lit bustling streets of Hong Kong and Tokyo, along with sacred temples and temples, highlight the Far East’s intriguing blend of ancient and modern.
Guests will also have the chance to explore once-no-go corners of Asia like Yangon and more off-the-beaten-path locations like remote Ishigaki Island in Japan and Hue, a former imperial city perched on the Perfume River in Vietnam.
