Vivica A. Fox added a glamorous atmosphere to the Sundance Film Festival on the weekend she took a break from shooting her new diva movie in Atlanta.

This kill Bill The 59-year-old star hosted a special screening of 3M Talented The documentary premieres in Park City, Utah, on Sunday.

Speaking to PEOPLE on January 19 prior to the screening, Fox talked about her love for fashion on the set of her movie and how much she loves helping out with the wardrobe department. Twisted Housekeeper 2.

“I’m really excited about this because it’s kind of deadly attraction gets together Single White Womanbut with an African-American cast and we’re kicking ass here,” he tells PEOPLE to shoot the sequel to the 2021 TV movie in Atlanta.

Describing her role, she says, “I’m playing Pamela. I own a very successful make-up line called Love Princess.”

“Everyone admires me,” he continues with his character. “So I have a huge impact on my people. My role has an impact. Devil Wears PradaIt gives off a Meryl Streep vibe.”

“The color palettes are pink, you know, I like vibrant colors,” she says of her bold style both on and off camera. “Pinks – and I’m wearing a beautiful burgundy dress today. We always try to make sure everything is colorful and fits us well.”

This is what Fox means when he says “we”, because the star of the movie is also very successful in the style and aesthetics of the movie.

“I make a lot of wardrobe suggestions, I can tell you that, because I want a certain look and feel to the movie because I believe that sells it,” Fox says. “So people believe us.”

Off-screen, the team actress says she’s “definitely not the diva in the trailer” and wants to start directing movies as well as helping out the fashion department.

“So I kind of watch, you know, I’m not trying to outdo anyone,” she shares her current opportunity to help out a little behind the scenes. “I’m just making suggestions.”

“I love the team effort,” adds Fox. “Where everyone feels comfortable and happy. I believe a happy set is a productive set.”

While Fox took a break from filming to go to Sundance, she opted for a dazzling all-black, head-to-toe satin jumpsuit from Bell of California for Sunday’s screening. He also said he would “roll” in some Cynthia Rowley for some of her other outings. “They have the perfect ski wear. Oh yes, I’ll look good in the gym.”

Returning to Georgia for her current project, Fox says she spends some time eating out with her family, despite working hard and working at least 12 hours a day while looking great.

“My brother lives here. So I had lunch with him, my niece and sister-in-law at CPK. [California Pizza Kitchen],” adding that the popular chain restaurant is “the best”.
