Looking for a quick and healthy breakfast? South Indian Adai Dosa is a must try
|What is Adai Dosa? How is it different from the usual dose?
One of the most nutritious dosas one could ask for, Adai or Tawala Adai is traditionally prepared in the Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. According to experts, this is not the exact dose; but it is similar to dosa. It is made with different types of dal and the fermentation process is not controlled like the classic one. Adding chickpeas makes it a protein- and fiber-rich choice. Adai is usually paired with coconut, ghee mixed with ghee and poultry.

How to make Adai Dosa at home?
Here we present you a classic recipe of adai dosa that you can prepare at home in less than 10 minutes.
- All you need to do is combine the dallas, soak them for a few hours and prepare the batter. Here we used toor dal, chana dal, urad dal and rice for batter.
- First, we mix red and red pepper. Then add rice and a little water to the blender and make a rough paste. Mix the two pastes together and add onions, curry leaves, haldi, ingredients and salt to it. Mix everything well into a good batter.
- Now heat a pan and apply oil to it. Add the dough and shape it as you would for a dosa. Here the texture is thicker than usual. Make a small hole in the middle and pour oil. After browning, turn the dosa to the other side.
- Serve hot with your choice of accompaniments.
