‘Kate Middleton’s wedding cake looked spectacular, but it tastes like Christmas pudding’

Fiona Cairns is the pastry chef behind Kate Middleton and Prince William’s spectacular eight-tiered 2011 wedding cake. The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly chose Fiona because they had already tried the chef’s fruitcake and loved it. they enjoyed.

I tried a piece of Fiona Cairns’ fruitcake exclusively for Express.co.uk and was really impressed.

I wouldn’t always choose a fruitcake as my first choice, as it can sometimes be quite dry.

But I did find this fruitcake incredibly moist, which was really a pleasant surprise.

My knife cut the cake extremely smoothly and held together in a perfect shape, which was a nice positive start to testing the cake.

The fruitcake itself was very smooth and you could certainly detect a strong brandy flavor which was a pleasant surprise. The rich cake was covered in marzipan and topped with a smooth icing.

I love the taste of marzipan as it definitely enhances the flavor of any cake. Fruitcake is traditionally served at weddings in the UK.

The flavor of the cake chosen by the Prince and Princess was traditional, but the icing was different.

It was made with a fondant base, as Fiona conceded, because the couple specifically requested a smoother glaze.

Similar to Kate and William, I also prefer a smooth frosting on a cake over harder royal icing.

Therefore, I thought this cake was perfect with both its cake and frosting elements.

For a sweet finish, the cake I tried was covered in edible pellets to add some texture to the frosting.

Of course, Kate and William’s wedding cake was eight tiered and much more complex, due to the fact that it was a wedding cake.

But a simple slice of Fiona Cairns fruitcake is absolutely delicious and very reminiscent of a Christmas cake.

Royal fans would love the chance to sample a cake that was served at the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales in 2011.

Members of the Royal Family were already familiar with Fiona’s cakes before the wedding, including the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Fiona has said in the past: “William and Kate were already familiar with our fruitcake.” But 2011 marked the first year the chef had worked directly for the royals.

The wedding cake looked incredibly opulent and fit perfectly with the elegant theme of the wedding.

Kate and William’s magnificent cake was an eight-tiered dessert, garnished with fondant flowers with Lambeth thread.

The cake was three feet tall in total, but it was also incredibly wide, creating a majestic presentation.

The incredible cake, which was eight tiers and weighed 220 pounds, stood tall at the royal wedding in 2011.
