Iron chef Jose Garces expands Spanish tapas concept

Iron Chef Jose Garces, who is keynote speaker next week at the Restaurant Franchising and Innovation Summit in Coral Gables, Florida, is expanding one of his restaurant concepts to the Philadelphia suburbs Friday with the unveiling of Amada Radnor on the Main Line, at 555 E. Lancaster Avenue, in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

The restaurant is Amada’s third location and offers indoor and outdoor dining for 250 guests and serves Spanish tapas along with a Gin Tonic Experience that arrives at the table and invites guests to participate in creating the perfect Gin Tonic to pair with their meal.

“We are excited to expand our relationship with the Main Line,” Garces said in a company press release. “We started fast casual last year, with Buena Onda, and are now moving to something higher with the opening of Amada’s Radnor outpost, one of my flagship restaurants. The reception we’ve had has been amazing. We can’t can’t wait to meet even more foodies and get even more involved with our new community as we open our doors this week we’ve created a beautiful space that brings the best of the Amada Philadelphia experience to the Main Line I’m special excited about our two patios and our beautiful white marble bar top.”

Amada Radnor comes on the heels of a stellar year for Garces, which includes Amada Radnor, Garces Trading Company at Kimmel, Garces Trading Company at Cira Center, Buena Onda Radnor, Buena Onda Rittenhouse, Buena Onda Wells Fargo Center, Buena Onda at the Concourse at Comcast Center and Garces Eats in Wells Fargo Center, all within the last 12 months.
