As Cupid’s big day approaches, Montgomery County businesses are offering plenty of delicious — and sometimes quirky — ways to celebrate February 14th.

From animal encounters, to special music and divine chocolates, here are five ways to celebrate your love this Valentine’s Day.

Goat Gram on Valentine’s Day

If your Valentine loves a cute treat, Conroe’s The Learning Zoo is offering Goat Grams on February 14th. The Learning Zoo will come to your home for a 20-minute session with a baby Nigerian Pygmy goat.

The Learning Zoo is an animal experience located on FM 1488 near Texas 242. They offer tours, special animal experiences, birthday parties and educational activities for students.

They recommend planning ahead when preparing sweet treats for your loved ones.
Zulay, a native of Venezuela, makes handmade chocolates from Venezuelan Criollo Cacao. They also have a variety of coffees, desserts, soups, sandwiches and salads for lunch.
Chocolate covered strawberries are one of their Valentine’s Day specialties, but Terry asks customers to place their orders two days in advance.

Market Street Concert

Couples looking for a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with their loved ones can attend two concerts at Central Park Market Street. While you’re into the music, take some Valentine’s Day photos nearby at the park Feb. 11-14.
February 11th features the Divisi Strings in a candlelit concert at Market Street’s Central Park. The Valentine’s Day concert features jazz from the Fahrenheit Duo. Both from 6 to 8 pm
Couples are encouraged to make reservations for two at one of the Market Street restaurants along Central Park or bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the show.

Fill your love with food

Margaritaville in Lake Conroe has several options for celebrating love island style.

The Valentine’s Candlelight Dinner will be held on February 11th from 6 to 9 pm at Waterside Cove Restaurant. Dinner features a three-course prix-fixe dinner in a candlelit setting with views of Lake Conroe. Travel by train

While waiting for dinner at one of The Woodlands Mall’s restaurants, try riding one of The Woodlands Waterway’s swan boats to pass the time.
Swan pedal boats can be booked for 30 minutes or an hour and can accommodate up to four people. It is open on Saturdays and Sundays.
