Get these on your radar

Recent rumors suggest that GM plans to release a small, affordable electric pickup truck. The brand’s compact Chevrolet S10 hasn’t been sold in the United States for nearly two decades — but GM could launch a similar all-electric pickup on US soil. The supposed truck would feature a bed about 4.5 feet long, and many think it will be smaller than the compact gas trucks made by Ford and Hyundai. Most importantly, the truck is expected to retail for less than $30,000. Chevrolet’s director of affordable EV and crossover design, Michael Pevovar, explains that GM creates the designs to “get a response” and “will modify them or move on.” Let’s hope they get this release to light as soon as possible at this price point.

The NOMAD Grill and Smoker ($649) is designed for campers, rear gaters, and those who know the true magic of grilling over charcoal. This portable grill is equipped with ultra-light cast stainless steel grates and magnetic ventilation sliders, and also features an advanced thermal architecture. Its built-in bimetal thermometer helps take the guesswork out of grilling, while a high grate-to-weight ratio ensures optimal grilling surface at a fraction of typical grill weight.

A city-friendly waterproof tote bag

Last week, RAINS unveiled an absolutely exceptional puffer boot at Paris Fashion Week, but the brand has yet to announce an official launch date or product page for the upcoming model. Inspired by high-performance dry bags and built to last, the new waterproof tote features two main compartments and an internal zip pocket for added protection.

GOLF WANG launches a new racing capsule

Miles away from the weird futures of yesteryear, GOLF WANG recently released a new Racing Capsule with models retailing between $20 and $350. The collection includes a striking leather jacket and matching leather pants. Perhaps our favorite item is the lime green Golf Racing Hazard Gloves ($80). Crafted from genuine cowhide leather and adorned with a custom golf leather appliqué, the gloves are also offered in black – but who can resist this totally radioactive colourway?
