Looking for a mid-week Mexican fix? Tequila Lime Cantina is a great place to go for Taco Tuesday. Every Tuesday, the eatery at 197 Bank St., Fall River, features $3 tacos made with fresh pico de gallo, lettuce and Monterey jack cheese and topped with your choice of filling (ground beef, vegetarian, pulled pork, steak, chorizo). barbecue chicken and buffalo chicken). Keep it simple or add a little extra toppings like queso, guac, or rice and beans. Carne asada, fried spicy fish or beer battered tacos are also available for $6.95 each. There is a maximum of six tacos per order.

For their February croissant special, Tiverton's Groundswell Cafe and Bakery is bringing back last year's flavor and turning it pink and red.  It is filled with raspberry jam and vanilla pastry cream.

For February’s Croissant Special, they bring back last year’s flavors and are colored pink and red. It is filled with raspberry jam and vanilla pastry cream. Become a soup master

Become a Soup Master at the Fall River Public Library. What’s better than a simmering soup or stew on a cold day? Come to the library on Saturday, February 4th at 10:30 a.m. and try homemade soups and learn how to make them yourself using fresh and healthy ingredients. Learn about the history of soup and get tips and recipes at this free cooking demonstration from Therapy Gardens. On January 26th, LePage’s Seafood launched its first Trivia Night. 439 Martin St. visit and bring all that “useless” knowledge — every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the lounge for an evening of fun with Good Thomas’ Entertainment. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third places. This week they also have live entertainment on Friday with CJ Martin and Saturday with Emily and Nick from 6-9pm. While you’re there, be sure to check out their weekly specials, which last weeks include menu items like chicken. marsala, Hawaiian Punch Donuts, Mozambican Fries and PB&J Churro Donuts.
