Jerome, ID, March 14, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Idaho Milk Products will present Episode 7 of its Formulation with Milk Protein webinar series on ‘Milk Protein Concentrate/Isolate Helps Create Great Rich Food Applications in proteins’. In this upcoming free webinar, attendees will learn about using functional dairy proteins to formulate protein-rich baked goods, confectionery, and snacks, how to choose the best proteins for your projects, and what equipment and expertise are available to assist in the formulation of food applications.

Speakers will include Kevin Quinn, vice president of sales and marketing for Idaho Milk Products, Kimberlee (KJ) Burrington, vice president of technical development for the American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI), and Pratishtha Verma, MSc, research and development scientist for Idaho Milk Products .

Mr. Quinn came to Idaho Milk Products in December 2022 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He has worked in the food industry for 30 years with national and international clients in sales, marketing and finance roles for Nestlé, Sara Lee, White Wave, Leprino Foods and Darigold. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder and began his career in Colorado. Kevin will present the history of Idaho Milk Products.

Ms. Burrington is vice president of technical development for the American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI). She has served as the Dairy Ingredient Applications Coordinator for the Center for Dairy Research (CDR) and has over 30 years of experience in product development, including positions with Ridgeview Industries and Keebler Company. She has a Master’s in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. KJ she will discuss the optimization of the use of MPC/MPI in high protein foods.

Ms. Verma joined Idaho Milk Products in 2020 as a Research and Development Scientist. She is working on ingredient applications aimed at increasing protein loading, as well as developing new application areas for dairy ingredients. She completed her Master’s in Dairy Manufacturing at South Dakota State University. Pratishtha will cover understanding the opportunities and challenges of using MPI/MPC in food and walk through real-time applications using Idaho Milk Products’ range of milk protein products.
