Join us in the kitchen as the remaining eight chefs share favorite comfort foods and a dish inspired by loved ones. From the first date kitchen to the sentimental recipes handed down through the generations, love is definitely in the air.
In the first round, chefs have 60 minutes to prepare their most comfortable home-cooked recipes. Comfort food platters are served to judges, Graham Elliott, Tiffany Derry, and Leah Cohen for their critiques. In the second round, the remaining eight chefs have 90 minutes to prepare a dish inspired by a loved one to share with the jury.

Alejandra Ramos is the host of The Great American Recipe. She is a TV host, TODAY Show food and lifestyle contributor, trained chef, and food writer known for creative recipes and entertaining ideas that are fun, improvisational and always have a little extra. Read more
Tiffany Derry is a judge on The Great American Recipe. The Texas native is the founder of Tiffany Derry Concepts and co-founder of T2D Concepts, the Texas-based purpose-based hospitality group behind Roots Chicken Shak, Roots Southern Table, and ‘Shef Tiffany Spice and Apparel line’. Read more
Lea Cohen is a judge for The Great American Recipe. Leah is the chef and owner of New York City’s famous Pig & Khao restaurant located on the Lower East Side. Winner of the 2013 StarChefs Rising Stars Award, Leah’s Filipino breeding and annual expeditions to the region are reflected in her culinary philosophy, which remains true to the flavors of authentic Southeast Asia while fusing classic Western techniques. Graham Elliott is a judge for The Great American Recipe. Describing himself as a “Navy brat”, he has traveled the world and all 50 states, sparking a keen interest in food which led him to enroll at Johnson and Wales University. Read more
