The world’s largest grill concept opens stores in Manila, Philippines
Dallas, Texas (Restaurantnews.com) Dickey’s Barbecue Pit continues its red-hot development streak around the world as the iconic Texas-born brand announced its expansion into the Philippines.
In light of this exciting news of global expansion, Dickey’s Executive Vice President Jim Perkins and San Francisco Bay Area-based Master Partner John Lee recently visited the Philippines to open the first Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Manila in Q2 2023. John Lee is a real estate professional and restaurateur who already owns Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in the San Francisco Bay Area, a national burger chain, and has also developed his own concepts including Burmese and Peruvian restaurants. John’s son Max Lee, current owner/operator of Dickey’s in the Bay Area, will lead the expansion in the Philippines and the development of an additional 40 locations.
