Freya is located on East Grand Boulevard in Detroit’s Milwaukee Junction neighborhood, which The Times called “a district that still sees the bones of the city’s economic past.”

The restaurant is a tasting-menu-only dinner spot that, according to its website, is “focused on catering to 99 percent.” The cost is $85, including tax and 22% tip. Beverage pairings are separate. There are also several options in Freyja’s menu. In addition to the omnivorous menu, there are pescatarian (fish and vegan) or vegan options. Also, each course has several options.
