Chamber to host [email protected] networking event on Clark Island

WAUSAU — The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce is offering a unique opportunity for individuals to build their personal and professional networks at a special [email protected] event that will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday Aug. 18 on Clark Island in downtown Wausau. The Chamber will offer tours of the historic WPS Powerhouse on Clark Island and the train station during this event. Attendees will enjoy culinary delights, beverages and desserts provided by Chamber members. The event will include live music, outdoor games and an opportunity to watch kayakers navigate the Wausau Whitewater Trail.

“This will be a great summer event and an opportunity for our members and others in the community to learn about the two historic buildings that are being renovated and renovated on the island,” said Dave Eckmann, President. /Director General of the National Assembly.

Food and refreshments for this event will be provided by the following members of the National Assembly, with additional additions:

  • Bull Falls Brewery: Drinks for adults
  • Festival food: Chips and bottled water
  • Fun Factory Sweet Shoppe: Authentic Gelato (Italian Galato)
  • Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Meat: Brats
  • Red Robin Burgers & Brews: Chicken wings and signature pizza
  • Ropa’s Pizza: Pizza and gifts
  • Sam’s Club: Brat buns and specialty cookies

Attendees can park on a limited basis in the mall and the WPS Powerhouse. Additional parking is available in the basement of the library, the county building buildings east of Whitewater Street and in the JCPenney parking lot. first.

The Chamber’s [email protected] program is usually hosted by members from 5pm to 7pm and includes adult drinks, snacks and atmosphere. A wonderful life for the audience to connect with. Each event will also offer attendees a chance to win door prizes in a fun and relaxed setting.
