All the positions of Gordo Slime in Slime Rancher 2

Slime farmer 2 has just been released and players are arranging these little creatures as fast as possible.

Like the original, there are many nooks and crannies to explore as you travel through the different areas in search of rare and precious Ooze. There are some larger slimes, called Gordo, that you need to supercharge until they explode.

While it might sound a bit violent, it simply breaks down one large slime into a bunch of smaller ones. These oozes usually block your way to a new area, so you’ll need to get rid of them if you’re hoping to progress further.

Here is all the information you will need on all of the Gordo Slime locations in Slime farmer 2.

Players will find the first Gordo, the Pink Gordo, simply by exploring the main island. You will find this Slime in the western part of the island, sitting on a geyser. Once you’ve fed this Slime enough fruit, vegetables, or meat, his eyes will go wide before he explodes into a bunch of smaller Pink Slimes. Once out of the geyser, you can use it to reach the second level and interact with the pedestal to open the next island.

The second island is Ember fields, where you will find new slimes that are very hot and others that are willing to inflict serious damage on you.

Phosphorus Gordo

The Phosphor Gordo type resembles a lightning bolt with its bright interior. You can find this giant slime blocking the entrance to a cave just to the left of where the path to your home opens. He only eats fruit, so players should make sure it is the food they are growing or stealing in the wild. Once the player gets rid of the Phosphor Gordo, he will have access to the cave he was blocking.

Once you get rid of the Phosphor Gordo, you will have access to the cave behind it. There isn’t an extra island for it, but there is a diamond-shaped device that looks like some kind of puzzle.

The Cotton Gordo is an adorable bunny that can be found in the south-central part of Rainbow Fields. This slime only eats vegetables, so you’ll need to grow or find carrots and water cabbage and feed them to the Cotton Gordo until it explodes. This Gordo is sitting on a small cave that leads to a terminal once you get rid of it.

After blowing up the Cotton Gordo, you will unlock access to the Starlight Strand terminal. Activate it and the portal that teleports you to Starlight Strand will be unlocked.

Beat Gordo

Batty Gordo is found deep inside a cave and can be difficult to find at first, but the deep purple color stands out on the surrounding lava and rocks. You will need to find the right cave in Ember Valley before going down to the chamber where Batty Gordo is blocking the entrance to another part of the cave. You can find the cave entrance shown where the player is on the map below.

You will need to feed the Batty Gordo lots of fruit before it explodes. Once done, you will unlock access to a new part of Ember Valley with fruit and more Slimes.

Gordo hunter

Hunter Gordo is a carnivorous slime that can be found near the center of Starlight Strand. You will only be able to feed this slime meat, so raise or find some chickens on the island for the hunter Gordo. Since you will need a lot of chickens, it may be worth keeping them in your conservatory so that you have an endless stream to draw from.

After feeding Hunter Gordo dozens of chickens, it will eventually reach the size of the entrance before exploding. Once gone, you can search the hidden cave and find a Pod, Strange Diamonds and Radiant Ore inside. There is also a circular door with a diamond in the middle, which probably leads back to a different part of the island.

With Slime farmer 2 still in development, players will likely find more Gordo Slimes as the game receives more updates.
