ABC’s new ‘Bachelor’ has a Hollywood connection and knows what it’s like to be dumped on national television

Zach Shallcross won the hearts of fans everywhere in “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” as he competed for the love of one of the singles Rachel Recchia on season 19 of “The Bachelorette” last year.

The 26-year-old tech executive traveled home and introduced Recchia to his family at their home in Anaheim Hills. Viewers also discovered that Shallcross was the nephew of actor Patrick Warburton, the man who played Puddy on “Seinfeld” and many other characters from movies and television shows. Uncle Patrick was also there to meet Recchia during his visit to the family’s home.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be, and Recchia broke Shallcross’s heart. However, during the filming of “After the Last Rose” last year, Shallcross was announced as the 27th single. Season 2 began airing on ABC on Monday night, January 23, and she looked dashing in her fitted blue suit, but a total of 30 women showed up at the Agoura Hills Singles Mansion to try and get her last rose.

“I still feel like it was a dream,” he said in the opening moments of the show. “I am a point in my life to really settle down and find my wife.”

At many points, he brings in all the audio quotes from the intro that “Bachelor/Bachelorette” fans have been waiting for, including “This works, I know my wife is here,” and “This is my biggest fear… falling.” falling in love with two people… is horrible.”

These are love stories filled with sweet and tender moments and drama-filled outbursts that leave audiences baffled and wonder why they keep watching each season. Aren’t we enough? No! We want more and this season is already delivering on that.

So grab a glass of champagne and let’s dive into what’s going on here with our hometown bachelor and break this premiere episode into delicious little nuggets.

weird equals cute

First of all, every woman on this show is stunning. There will be no embarrassment here. For whatever reason they agreed to put themselves out there – hopefully to really find love? – on national television. Most of the women walked in with confidence and fierce demeanor, but two were a bit odd. Not in an annoying way, but in a cute and loving way.

First up is Jessica, 23, an e-commerce coordinator from Florida. She was the first woman to get out of the limo, and she was visibly shaking. Shallcross, who had been in this position before him, put him at ease. “I felt that way too,” she said. “I was nervous too.” They met one-on-one at the mansion later, and the two seemed to compliment each other well. As the nerves melted for the couple, they both went in for their first kiss. He bought a rose.

Then there was Greer. He is 24 years old and a medical sales representative from Houston, Texas. The producers had a fun introduction to her before she entered the mansion, but she was so weird and crazy. She referred to herself in the third person and said, “I love my life, but dating is terrible”. Acceptance.

But Greer and Shallcross have one thing in common: He also refers to himself in the third person throughout the episode. The two of them are so cute together. They seemed to really bond, as they spent one-on-one time at the mansion and he went in for the kiss. It wasn’t just a kiss, they made love so hard that the other girls’ necks were whipped and they tried to spy on the couple with passionate lips. He gave Greer his first impression, it’s a huge deal.

here for fun

Cat was someone the audience met in “After the Last Rose”, as five contestants went out to meet Shallcross that evening. Cat, a 26-year-old dancer from New York, doesn’t immediately seem like the perfect match for the single, but she’s a great entertainer. She is a weird, big-eyed, and bubbly blonde woman who at one point in the first episode challenges Shallcross to see how many meatballs she can fit into each one’s mouth.

Strange? Yes. Messy? Absolutely. Unforgettable. Oh yes. She was a little scared at the last rose ceremony, and when the roses began to fade she got the biggest blow: “If I don’t find a rose, I’ll burn this house down.” I have no doubts about it, and neither do the producers, so she bought a rose. He’ll be around for a few more weeks because we need that kind of character on a show like this.

moments worth embarrassing

While the rest of us are glad that the cameras didn’t follow us on our first dates, these ladies reveal it all. The good, the bad, the ugly and the most embarrassing!

We’ll start with Christina, 26, from Nashville, Tenn. She is a content curator but also her mother is country singer Irlene Mandrell. She was one of the women who was totally involved in shallcross and had her own video intro earlier in the episode, during which she said, “I think Zach looks so cute. Sure, he’s handsome and his voice is sexy and he’s really tall and charming… but beyond that, he’s sincere. I could definitely see myself falling in love with her a lot.

It was cute, but during the one-on-one, they tried to play a game where each of them simultaneously shouted what they liked and nothing matched. He chose the mountains while he chose the coast. He chose dinosaurs and he chose dragons. This game was silly but self explanatory. Still, she made love to him.

The next embarrassing moment was poor 26-year-old Madison, a North Dakota business owner who really, really wanted to make a connection. She tried several times, and Shallcross politely consented, but he wasn’t reading her body language. It just wasn’t there. She went in to kiss him once and she took his cheek. She tried to spend more one-on-one time with him, which didn’t sit well with other women, she. Although She laughed and danced with him and basically pecked her lips after putting her face in his, she realized that he didn’t like her very much and wept all over the house. She finally saw herself after Shallcross, but she told him, “It’s not you, it’s me.” To be fair, he was good at this, and it’s a tough one.
