A traditional Texas BBQ that serves 12-hour smoked meats and opens in Ayrshire
Little Texas BBQ is set to open in Kilmarnock, although an opening date has not been revealed yet.
The new restaurant will be located in Lakeside Landscapes on West Road in the city.
The new restaurant will specialize in slow-cooked and smoked meats, and will serve tender beef and pork served on pretzel buns.
We previously told you that Lakeside Landscapes has launched a bid for a new restaurant in 2021.
The blueprints showed plans for 38 cars on site and a restaurant with 76 lids.
A post on Little Texas BBQ’s Facebook page reads: “Having worked and lived in South Texas for over 15 years, Barry learned from a good friend and a Texan (Darrell Holt) the fine art of traditional Texas barbecue.
Instantly hooked with the delicious smoky flavor, along with the exceptionally tender meat. Now after 15 years of backyard smoking, we’ve decided to follow our passion and love for all things grilled!
“We’re almost ready to bless Kilmarnock with slow-cooked, smoked meats, so stay tuned to our social networks for more information about us and our official launch.”
